ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN® COMPANY
From the earliest days, The Mountain® has worked to be a responsible corporate citizen. With a Green Philosophy, everyday The Mountain® strives to run and produce products in a way that protects the environment, gives value to all customers and support to their employees. Long before it was the "in" thing to do, the founders of The Mountain® have been taking the kind of steps that make a real difference.

• More than 80% of the cotton in the shirts is grown in the USA.
• Use Organic Reactive Dyes to create their dye library of over 600 colors.
• Use envionmentally-friendly waterbase inks to create the amazing soft feel to the prints (99.5% of other T-Shirt printers use petroleum based ink to create their designs on apparel giving them that hard, plastic "shield" feel).
• Shirts are 100% preshrunk cotton (even the thread that holds it together is cotton). If washed according to the label instructions, in cold water, not only will your shirt stay at the same size as when you purchased it, but also the print will remain vibrant for years to come.
• Has Oeko-Tex 100 Certification (one of the highest certification worldwide) which guarantees The Mountain® shirts are free of chemicals harmful to your body.
• Has a commitment to the environment that is part of The Mountain's Collective Consciousness. The Mountain® believes that Fair Trade starts at home by taking good care of their employees and their families.

While many printers are trying to kick the chemical habit and learn how to use waterbased inks, The Mountain® ais light years ahead of them. They are literally pioneers of using waterbased ink and have perfected it’s use to create photo-realist imagery that is not attainable by other screen printers. The Mountain® shirts are dyed and printed in their facility in New Hampshire. The Mountain's® most ambitious project to date is complete and now making history! They said it couldn't be done but The Mountain® has always found a way of making the impossible, possible!

Jeffrey Grosner, VP of Operations at The Mountain® working with a team of Yankee ingenuity dreamers, inventors and engineers built a Dye Oxidation System (DOS) that cleans the waste dye water without the use of any chemical. It's truly mind blowing what Jeff has accomplished and The Mountain® is thankful that he took the initiative to invent this solution, not only for them, but also for customers, neighbors and the environment.

ARTWORK & THEMES
In addition to their own studio, The Mountain® licenses art internationally
from dozens of artists. The Mountain's® broad themes include Animals & Nature, Fantasy, Native American, Patriotic, Nostalgia, and more. Each Mountain® shirt is uniquely hand-dyed therefore slight variations in the color may occur. All shirts are only available in the colors which they appear on this site to best represent that design.

FINDING THE RIGHT SIZE
Because the shirts are hand-dyed there may be slight variations in colors AND sizes so please note the below sizing is an ESTIMATE only. The main reason is The Mountain does not buy shirts from a dye mill, pre-dyed. All shirts are dyed in house, by hand. This causes a bit of inconsistency due to varying conditions. The Mountain looks at it as something that makes The Mountain unique, much like the mottling of the shirts, no two are ever the same. The Mountain wants you to have the best product possible so sometimes the shirt color may completely change because the original intended color for that design just doesn't look good.

The Mountain® Classic Adult T-shirts (10-XXXX series)
are standard industry UNISEX sizes:
Small = 36" chest (91.4 cm)
Medium = 41" chest (104.1 cm)
Large = 44" chest (111.8 cm)
XL = 48" chest (121.9 cm)
2XL = 50" chest (127)
3XL = 56" chest (142.2 cm)
4XL = 59" chest (149.9cm)
5XL = 61.5" chest (156.2cm)

Children's T-shirts
sizing is as follows:
Small = 2-4 (26" chest) (66 cm)
Medium = 6-8 (30" chest) (76.2 cm)
Large = 10-12 (32" chest) (81.3 cm)
X Large = 14-16 (36" chest) (91.4 cm)

CARING FOR YOUR T-SHIRT
The Mountain® only uses quality heavy-weight cotton T-shirts. There are complete
washing instructions on the reverse of the hang tag on each shirt:
Turn garment inside out.
Set wash temperature to cold.
Line dry or tumble dry low.
Do not bleach or dry clean
Wash with like colors

By following these instructions your T-shirt will look good for many years to come!

Normal ETA of 10 - 14 "BUSINESS DAYS" (that is MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, EXCLUDING weekends and holidays) beginning the first "Business Day" AFTER you have placed your order will apply. Orders outside of the US, please allow and additional 7-10 "Business Days" for in transit shipping time. I will do my BEST to get your items to you as soon as I possibly can!

If you would like EXPEDITED processing and shipping, there will be a minimum $50 additional charge. If you are an International customer, there may be another additional charge for shipping depending on the size of your order and your country.
