The Mountain® is a manufacturer of high quality, hand-dyed garments using only water-based inks that are both environmentally friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. The printing process has been carefully researched and perfected over several years, and gives these shirts a soft feel. Unlike other companies that use plastisol printing techniques (similar to laying a coat of plastic on top of the shirt giving it that plastic 'shield' feel), The Mountain uses a special process that actually dyes the fabric fiber. This gives these shirts an amazingly detailed and durable image with an incredibly soft feel.

The Mountain® feels that care should extend beyond the company itself into the larger community and are major contributors to the art and theater, one of the largest supporters of a local drug alcohol treatment center, supporter of a neighborhood retreat that cares for the mentally ill, and contributor to a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation center in New Hampshire.

Artwork & Themes
In addition to their own studio, The Mountain® licenses art internationally
from dozens of artists. The Mountain's® broad themes include Animals & Nature, Fantasy, Native American, Patriotic, Nostalgia, and more. Each Mountain® shirt is uniquely hand-dyed therefore slight variations in the color may occur. All shirts are only available in the colors which they appear on this site to best represent that design.

Caring for Your T-shirt
The Mountain® only uses quality heavy-weight cotton T-shirts. There are complete
washing instructions on the reverse of the hang tag on each shirt:
Turn garment inside out.
Set wash temperature to cold.
Line dry or tumble dry low.
Do not bleach or dry clean
Wash with like colors
By following these instructions your T-shirt will look good for many years to come!
